Emerging Leaders Council

To act as ambassadors for Planned Parenthood Hudson Peconic (PPHP) and Planned Parenthood Hudson Peconic Action Fund (PPHPAF) working towards increasing access to reproductive health care and protecting reproductive rights through the engagement of young people.
We envision our role in the reproductive rights movement as:
- Engaging our unique communities to become advocates, donors and volunteers with PPHP and PPHPAF.
- Working to increase civic engagement with young people and professionals in Westchester, Rockland, Putnam and Suffolk counties through voter registration, phone banks and community outreach.
- Educating the public about PPHP’s services to correct misinformation and reduce stigma around reproductive health care and sex education.
