CWRU GB Meeting: Planned Parenthood Introduction

Hey everyone! We're coming to the end of the semester with the final speaker event presented by Stephanie Kollmann Baker and Kenzi Burchett from our affiliated Planned Parenthood Greater Ohio branch.

Stephanie Kollmann Baker (she/hers) is the State Organizing Director for Planned Parenthood Advocates of Ohio, supporting a team of organizers across the state that resource and empower communities to advocate for reproductive health, rights, and freedom. Stephanie has been working in the nonprofit sector for over 10 years and lives in Cincinnati. Today she’ll be giving a basic overview of PPAO’s advocacy programs and current fights.

Kenzi Burchett (she/her) is a Community Health Education Specialist at Planned Parenthood of Greater Ohio’s Ohio Center for Sex Education. Kenzi serves as a sex educator for the Northeast Ohio area as well as the Peer Education coordinator for the Toledo cohort and manages the OCSE’s social media. Before working at PPGOH, she was the president of Kent State’s PPGEN chapter, an intern at NARAL Pro-Choice Ohio, and then later went on to work in sexual and intimate partner violence advocacy. Today she’ll be talking with us about the OCSE’s programs, and what we talk about with youth.
